These terms govern your use of DachaBooks (dachabooks.com), a subscription book lending service. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

The Service

DachaBooks is a physical book lending library. We mail Russian-language children's books to subscribers in the United States. You borrow books, read them with your family, and return them when you're ready for new ones.

Subscription

• The Family Plan costs $50/month, billed monthly through Stripe.
• You may hold up to 5 books at a time and make up to 2 swaps per month.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your paid billing period.
• All outstanding books must be returned when your subscription ends.

Shipping

• We ship via USPS Media Mail within the United States only.
• Shipping costs are included in your subscription — no extra fees.
• You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.

Book Care

• Books are lent, not sold. They remain the property of DachaBooks.
• Please handle books with reasonable care. Normal wear from reading is expected and fine.
• If a book is lost or damaged beyond usability, we may charge a replacement fee (typically $15-30 depending on the book).

Your Account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time. Personal data will be permanently removed per our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
