DachaBooks ("we," "us," or "our") operates dachabooks.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

- Account information — your name and email address, provided by Google when you sign in.
- Shipping address — your street address, city, state, and ZIP code, so we can mail books to you.
- Age-group preferences — the age ranges you select (e.g., "2-4"). We do not collect children's names, birthdates, or photos.
- Subscription and order history — which books you borrowed, shipment tracking, and billing dates.
What We Do NOT Collect
- Payment card numbers — all payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Children's personal information — no names, birthdates, photos, or any data that identifies a specific child.
- Phone numbers — not collected.
How We Use Your Information
- To ship books to you and process returns.
- To manage your subscription and billing.
- To send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates).
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
How We Protect Your Information
- Shipping addresses are encrypted at rest in our database.
- All connections use HTTPS encryption.
- Access to personal data is limited to the sole operator of DachaBooks.
Third-Party Services
We use the following services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Google — for sign-in authentication.
- Stripe — for payment processing.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from your Account page. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal information (name, email, address). Records of past shipments are anonymized but not deleted, as they are needed for inventory tracking.
